Rib string bikini top

I read the reviews and decided to get a size large and it fits great. I'm a 34/36 A and the last swim top from j crew was a medium and slightly too big. So yes this one runs super small. The large fits like a normal small would fit. But that being said, I do love it. The green color is really pretty and it feels like good quality.

I am a 34DD, medium/8 in all J.Crew, and according to the size chart I should get a medium in this top. To play it safe, and because its a skimpier bikini, I got a large. I can fit maybe half of one boob in this bikini top. I was so confused I went to my closet and got a similar cut J.Crew top from last summer (which was a medium) and THAT fit me, but this large is at least two sizes too small...someone explain that one to me. This was the 3rd J.Crew suit I've tried this summer, and the 3rd I've returned--and it might be my last one, forever. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me three times, shame on me I guess.

wanted to love this bikini bc of the rib material and color (i purchased pale pink and loved the color) but it ran a bit small, the material was stiff and it had ZERO stretch to it. I also purchased the coordinating high rise bottoms and it was same - small, stiff, no stretch. I typically wear a LG in bikini top (36D) and small in bottoms (4/6) which is what i purchased here. a bit of a let down. returned. Wish they offered this color in the regular material bikini top/bottoms.

I really wanted to love this bikini top because of the rib fabric but it’s very tough and scratchy. The strings cut into my neck and back and I feel like I’d end up with red marks if I tried to wear this to the beach for the day. I found that it runs slightly smaller than the other string bikini tops and has 0 stretch.
