Cute but fragile
June 1, 2019I purchased the velvet tops to match the black, bluish grey and gold skirts. They looked beautiful together tops tucked into the skirts with a bootie last winter and currently I wear these dress lookalikes with flats but the issue is, two of the three split in the exact location down the back on my first attempt at wearing them so I was very careful when bending or visiting the washroom with the last skirt as I had to have the first two repaired. Cmon Jcrew, these skirts shouldn’t be so fragile.

I loved it at first...
May 22, 2019I bought this skirt for winter and loved the easy fit and luxe look. However, now after owning it for 6+ months, wearing it in total < 10 times to my desk job, multiple seams have split rendering it unwearable. Another unfortunate example of the decline in J.Crew's quality.

Beautiful, but disappointing
January 19, 2019Got this skirt, and instantly loved it. The velvet was lightweight and luxurious. Sadly, like other reviewers have mentioned, the first time I wore it, the seams came apart and the velvet started to disintegrate along the seams. The skirt was not tight, was actually a little loose, so you can only imagine my surprise when I took it off at the end of the day and realized the seam down the back of the skirt had ripped open about 8 inches. Yikes! Other seams were starting to unravel as well, but the lining was completely intact with no strain on the seams. So disappointing.
