Italian cashmere boyfriend V-neck sweater

As I write this I am happily wearing a j.crew collection cashmere boyfriend sweater from last year. When my order arrived today I was so excited until I opened the package. The cut of this years sweater is completely different from last year and the quality is horrible. This doesn't even feel like cashmere. I am so disappointed. People have been complaining about the declining quality here but I have persevered and found great items year after year. If this sweater had ONE redeeming quality I might be happy but it doesn't. The color is only ok, the cut is horrible, and the fabric is the worst offender. I am 31 and have been shopping at j.crew since I was a freshman in high school, so 18 years. I'm really bummed to have wasted money on something so disappointing.

I love this sweater, I buy at least 1 every season. This years I brought three!!! Great to throw on with jeans or with a nice pair of pants... Love it and the colors are gorgeous.

I love a good boyfriend sweater (or tee, for that matter). This is exactly what I hoped it would be - properly fitted for a woman's figure in the arm, shoulder and bust area, then a lovely loose yet flattering drape through the body and hip. It's slouchy but not sloppy, and the cashmere has a perfect weight for the shape. I bought this in Neon Amethyst and am already planning to get at least one more.

I LOVE this sweater and bought 2 a few years ago and have worn them out I wear them so much; however, I had to give this review two stairs because I recently bought another one in grey and the quality is terrible. The cashmere is not only itchy but also much thinner than the previous two sweaters I own. I also ordered another cashmere sweater but in a different style and it too was uncomfortable to wear because of the itchy fabric. Unfortunately, I bought them last March and didn't get a chance to wear them until now so am unable to return them. Not sure what's going on with the quality of cashmere lately as J.Crew used to be the best.

In love with this sweater. Have in black, navy and now heather dove. Looks great with shorts, skinny jeans and pencil skirts--modern, chic look.

Just purchased this on sale in the Venetian Green. At first when I opened the package I did not like the color-- until I tried it on. It is beautiful with my almost black hair and fair skin tone. I have this same sweater in black that I've had for a couple years now. I was a little bit worried over some of the reviews saying the quality has gone down but not the case here. Also the photo made the sweater look longer and narrow but it arrived in the boxy cut that is just like my black one. Perfect balance with pencil skirt, leggings, skinny jeans. Love these sweaters so much!!! I'm thinking of getting another one!
