Timex® for J.Crew Andros watch

Good looking watch, but the care in putting it together seems to have fallen short on so many levels. After a week of wear, the date and day stopped working completely. The time ticked away forever stuck on Friday the 5th. After contacting J.Crew, they told me to reach out to Timex since it's under warranty and apparently their problem now. Dubious to say the least.

This is the third Timex watch I have purchased from JCrew. I am a nurse always striving for a classic look while wearing a uniform. I have had several compliments in the short time since I purchased it. Thank you, JCrew, for giving us nurses some style.

The watch itself is nice looking. Blue, can be worn with just about anything. However the quality of the strap is extremely flimsy and makes the watch feel like a cheap toy. Had to return :/

Watch arrived and looked good initially but when we looked closer at the chrome/metal around the watch it was very scratched, as if the watch was second hand. I am not sure if this is how it's supposed to look but I suspect not. It's a shame as it's a lovely looking watch but the quality really takes the edge off it. I am waiting to hear back as to whether this was a fault with our watch or it's a general issue.

Timex is a standard watch, their price point is low for a reason. This watch is priced for the style, and it is a cool watch, but in my opinion the quality is very subpar. It looks as if it should have luminescent accents on the hands and numbers, but sadly it does not. The Day/Date stop working on mine after a few weeks of infrequent casual wear. I have owned several Timex watches directly from the, and even there cheaper ($30-$50) models are tad sturdier than this showing. This model looks cool and I appreciate the history behind the model, but honestly for the price you can get a lot better elsewhere.

I wear it everyday. Perfect for summer. Love the color!
