Schoolboy blazer in black

i was late to the schoolboy party, but once i was able to grab one, it was perfection! i had to go up one size because it is a bit tight in the shoulders and chest, but otherwise it is "the one". the fabric is three seasons and goes from work to after work to weekends. please jcrew make this style again, i and others are fans and in love with the style/fit.

This is by far one of the best blazers in my closet. Fabric and it is great. I bought the black size 6 and fits perfect. It fits true to size and I can see wearing this for a very long time.

J Crew have done it again with another perfectly styled schoolboy blazer. This is my third and they never disappoint. My other two are more a summer fabric, so it's great to add a woollen winter look too. Highly recommended!

I ordered this blazer in size 6 because size 8 was not available at the time; and it was a great sale. I knew that the 6 would fit, but not with a lot of layering. I wanted a blazer to wear with jeans and skirts. Although it was very different from what I expected, this blazer will work for me; and it is well made. I expected more of a wool flannel. I expected to replace the brass buttons. The fabric is very fine wool which actually makes it more practical for year-round wear. The buttons are not cheap, shiny brass, but traditional (no anchors embossed on them). I would still like to see a traditional J Crew blazer in wool flannel or a classy tweed.

I just love this blazer, I already had it in Navy and very happy to now have it in classic black also. Timeless classics
