Bonded twill short

I dont usually buy shorts, but I bought these shorts for a family vacation in florida and they turned out to be a perfect fit and extremely versatile. The morning I put them on for the first time, before going to breakfast with my family, my mother said, "wow, you look slim and trim in those". The quality of these shorts is great and they hang really well on the hips and back even if you are somewhat curvy.

These shorts are heavier and stiffer than I expected; not sure how practical/comfortable they will be in hot temperatures. I ordered the iced quartz color and it is gorgeous in person and looks very similar to the online picture. The description says these shorts are meant to sit on the hips, but the waist is too tapered for that, so if you want them to sit at the hips you may have to size up. I ordered my regular size and they fit best when they are at my natural waist, which is definitely higher than I was anticipating.
