Legit—this looks like leather.
February 12, 2021Got the black skirt four years ago. Still wearing it during the day from September through March and on evenings all year long. I like it with a secretary blouse (chiffon, tie neck) and a well-fitting black sweater vest for work. I pair it with Super-flat oxfords and bare legs in warmer weather, and with black, flat Frye boots in cooler weather. Also good on casual Friday with a denim jacket, plain white t-shirt, and simple ballet flats. The length is bottom-of-the-kneecap (I’m 5’5”, 150 pounds, and wear a size 8 in this skirt. It’s not tight at all). With something sleeveless (black + paillettes) and pumps this skirt is easily chic and dressy in a tasteful way for a 49-year old for a fancy dinner date or night out in the city. I think your shoe choice really makes a difference with this skirt. Don’t let your shoes compete with the skirt (things could get tacky fast...). Fitted black turtleneck sweater with this skirt looks expensive and classic. Highly recommend this skirt!

January 21, 2021I love this skirt it is so easy to style and looks like a million bucks. I got the academic green which is fun and feels slightly more appropriate for my work setting than black probably would.
