July 9, 2016So cute but when you touch the fabric it feels like it is water proofed or just the cheapest fabric there is.. lots of complements when wearing but not comfortable wearing it

fabric is a little odd - but flamingos!
June 23, 2016Like other reviewers I found the fabric to be a little odd. But when you want something cute with flamingos to wear to a flamingo festival? This very very cute skirt hits the mark. Fits to size - just be aware the fabric - a little odd.

Most gorgeous skirt
June 19, 2016Just looking at this skirt makes me smile. Flamingos, pleats, elastic waist, all things I love. I also bought the flamingo shirt and will wear them together. The fabric on skirt is nice high quality and not thin or sheer. Also, it has a lining so it hangs nicely and no slip needed. Have not worn or cleaned it and did not even read the label but I will dry clean this item. Seems t.t.s. but having elastic waist gives it ability to fit a range of sizes. Heavier or more curvy ladies with hips may not like the volume of pleats as they are just on the stiff side of fabrics but if you are fairly straight up and down and not overly short this should be flattering. I am just under 5'6"and 112 lbs. bought the XS. Really love this skirt and wish J.C. would bring out a few more pieces in this print. Pants and shoes would look wonderful in this print.

Cute print, not-so-cute fit
June 3, 2016The playful flamingo print almost sold me on this skirt: it's bold and colorful but not too busy. Alas, the skirt is weirdly unflattering, thanks to the voluminous pleating and stiff fabric. (I was irresistibly reminded of a lampshade when I looked at myself in the mirror--not really my best look.) I returned it for the Ratti Happy Cat skirt, which was a much better fit.

May 30, 2016Was so excited for this skirt, as I am a big fan of the midi length and whimsical print. However, funny feeling material aside (similar to a soft shower curtain as others have stated), it's going back. Yes, the pleats are lovely and I am sure they probably do lay flat if you are a size 0; not so much if you are a 40+ year old with a 40+ year old tummy that may not be as flat as it once was! I felt like the pleats were poofing out and it was not flattering. So sad because I loved the print.

Lovely Print, but the material...
May 26, 2016Seems like I'm not the only one who is not a fan of the material. It is too stiff and puff out, making my petite and slim frame look strange. The print is really lovely. I guess it may work for tall ladies
