1 week agoI read a negative review prior to purchasing this and ignored the advice to avoid this bag— it absolutely is as disappointing as the previous reviewer indicates. The bag is flimsy, unlined, and has no structure at all. No internal pockets. I had it monogrammed - otherwise would have returned. I usually love J.Crew but this is not good.

2 weeks agoLove the bag, I do wish it had a magnet closure instead of the tie, I took off one star for that. The color is gorgeous, I do worry about it getting dirty but that's life. The material is like butter, I plan to but in other colors.

Lacking in quality features
October 2, 2025Honestly compared to the Madewell bucket bag this one really falls short. At first I was really excited because it's a beautiful bag, but to have no inner pockets or magnet closure is just a dealbreaker. The tie closure is cheap and useless.
