Was so excited for this because of the gorgeous cutwork, but it was incredibly dowdy-looking on--way too much fabric, even for a caftan or long dress. Would have benefited from being shorter, with short sleeves

I bought this as xs. Im 5ft 1 and it came to my ankles. The material is fantastic, and it the stitching is gorgeous. But that said I got it on final sale and could not return or else I would have. I really wanted to love it but I found it not flattering. Im someone who is round figure, curvy, mom bod but still have a waist line. 34dd waist 30 and hips about 36 and short. I think this looks better on someone who is modelesque figure, like long torso not short like me. Beautiful dress just not for short waisted ladies.
