These were an instant win for my U of M grad husband and MSU grad stepson...neither of which are in need of ANY additional branded gear! The wool made it special and the leather strap also sets this apart. I tend to agree with the other reviewer who noted the leather could be a bit higher quality. These items were a huge hit as gifts, however. Very pleased with my purchase.

[Employee of jcrew] Another great collaboration. A beautiful hat. Your Bulldog fan friends will be jealous. Be advised it does attract lint, so you will need a lint brush if you do not own one. But what you get with real wool. Go Dawgs.

I bought the Michigan hat (as I write this jcrew is displaying the Wisconsin hat). I like the large block M and the real stitching. Blue is a nice solid dark blue. Looks great. And strap for adjusting is leather which makes it feel high quality too. All around it feels like an item passed down from your grandfather.
