The dress is slightly stretchy and makes for a snug fit. It is a statement dress when worn, especially with the tie bow on the side. The dress can be worn to work, or even a dinner date, depending on how you accessorize.

With my new job, I wanted to get some new clothes that were work-appropriate but also comfortable. I really like wearing dresses, but wanted ones where I didn't have to worry about the length when sitting down. This dress reminds me of 1930s-1950s fashion, an era of more women entering the workforce and I love it!

If you have an athletic frame, forget this dress. I so wanted to love it, ordered a size up, and it remains too small in the chest. I still love the design of this dress. I did have to return it.
