I was so disappointed to receive this item stuffed in a medium plastic bag. I guess jcrew doesn’t ship coats in boxes anymore…before I even opened it I knew what I’d find. Needless to say it was very crumpled and wrinkled. I’m going to have to take it into the store to see if I can swap it with one that doesn’t have creases all over it. As for the review, I purchased the brown corduroy jacket and I do love the rich color. I was worried it would be a little cool for me color wise, but it’s actually a very rich and warm brown. The pictures don’t do it justice. The fit is flattering, and I love the length. I’m 5’4 for reference and have shorter legs. I find it to fit a tad oversized, which is great if you want something roomy enough to layer. It’s got a slouchy style to it, so if you’re normally in between small and medium and want a structured look, go with the small. I like it a bit relaxed so I will be keeping the medium…if I can exchange for one that isn’t crinkled to the max.

I had a barn jacket years ago. Please make tall sizes! It seems like J Crew has been backing away from the tall size options it used to offer in so many things. My whole wardrobe was once J Crew thanks to your extended sizing...

I purchased the brown cord in size medium. I was able to try an XS and S as well. I wanted the fit to be oversized- like borrowed from boyfriend feel. I typically wear size small, 126 lbs and 5’5 with 36” inch chest circumference. I could have fit the XS but it would have been more fitted across chest. It is a beautiful soft jacket and I was thrilled to purchase. A must for fall season!
