Jeans too short
4 days agoI like the jeans, but don’t love them. They are short, like ankle length, on my 5’5” frame. They fit well in a 31 at 165 pounds. I probably wouldn’t purchase again unless there was a tall option. Otherwise, nice looking and comfortable.

Freedom jeans
December 5, 2025Really comfortable jeans. Probably has to do with the 2 button closure which seems to give me a little more freedom in my waist. Good length, not too heavy in weight of material either.

Pass on the Rinse Wash -waste of money
November 21, 2025This pair of jeans in "Rinse Wash" is completely different from the "Elaine" color/pair. The Elaine color jeans were perfect. Don't bother buying the Rinse wash version. I bought both in a size 30. The Rinse Wash rise is too long which means low hanging crotch and the high rise comes up at lease 1 1/2" above my belly button. The back pockets come down below my derriere. They drag on the floor by about 2" and will need to be hemmed. There is closer threading around certain parts of the zipper which will draw attention and looks weird. Maybe mislabeled and a "Long" but nothing on the tags to suggest it. Final sale and no return or exchange. Perhaps I will wash in hot water and dry on high heat a few times to get them somewhere near usable. Come on J Crew, you can do better than this and pawn this off as the same jean but a different color.

Perfect long jeans and can wear a belt
November 17, 2025This is the best pair of jeans I've bought in years. Purchased the Elaine (blue) wash which was not bright and could easily be worn all year round except on the hottest of summer days as it has some weight. The length is perfect. At 5' 4 1/2", they hit almost floor length but not under the soles of my shoes. I purposely bought a size 30 rather than my normal 29. I can tuck in a dress shirt and wear a belt without any pinching at the waist. Washed cold and low heat for dryer. If there is one minute issue, it is that the buttons can be a tad difficult to get through the button hole but I expect as they are worn, the hole will widen. Will be purchasing these jeans in the "Rinse Wash" (black?) and hope nothing changes.
