So I lovee this dress but two sizes down would work perfect for me. As a small 137 lb gal the dress has a little too much fabric in bottom for me so I’ll alter or purchase xxs. I love this dress and is gorgeous.

I love the cotton voile fabric, it’s so light and flowy. I should mention this dress is lined to the knee. I didn’t see that mentioned in the listing anywhere. So in case you’re wondering, it’s lined - the lining is forgiving and not a straight skirt cut. But not so full that it’ll cause bunching of fabric. I found this to be true to size as I ordered my usual J.Crew dress size. I’m very pleased with the length too. I’m 5’4, and it’s not so long that I couldn’t wear flip flops if I wanted. I think you can pair it with cute sandals, tennis shoes, flip flops and heels. Endless options.

I hesitated to purchase because I wondered.."do I really need another black dress?" But yes I do! I am glad I bought as it is pretty, feminine, lightweight, comfortable, forgiving on the waist and booty and looks presentable on my middle age body. I think you can dress /sexy this up w the right shoes/jewlery or do flips and simplify. I may buy the floral too. I am 118, 5 7 and I got the xs. Ps you can wear a strapless bra if you want but you could go without.
