I bought this dress in August for September events outdoors on the east coast. It’s perfect at social or business events in warm humid weather the 100% cotton breathes, is loose fitting enough to be comfortable and covers your skin. Dress it up with jewelry and shoes or stroll on the beach!

I don’t usually wear shirt dresses, but I really love this one. It’s a pullover with an open V-neck, rather than a button up style; however, the crisp poplin makes it fit more like a shirt dress. It is a bit baggy, but I sized down to XS (I’m a 4 or a 6, depending on the style of dress, or an 8 in slim-fitting pants). The belt is essential for defining the waistline, and giving a nice silhouette. The color and pattern (and organic cotton) of the fabric are the best things about this dress. If you are expecting a soft, flowing fabric, then this won’t work for you. It really is a shirt dress without the buttons.
