A closet staple for spring and summer

Item arrived very crumpled so it’s hard to know if this would require a lot of ironing after the wash. Fabric is light for summer and good for the sale price but I’m somewhat disappointed with the cut . Was expecting it to be better with all the good reviews but in actual fact it is boxy in the XS. While the cropped length was good for my petite frame, the proportion is off . J crew has some issues with the proportion in many of their styles I’ve purchased in the past year.

Love this shirt! Brought it in the honey brown color and it’s perfect fall color. Smocked neckline is such a nice touch. The waist billows out a bit which allows it to swing. Material is heavy, but not stiff. Highly recommend!
