It is a lovely pattern and great for warm places but if you live in a chillier place it might not work. It's not lined and the material is quite lightweight. Otherwise it is great and as I said, if you live in a warm place it will work fine during the summer months especially.

I was nervous about ordering this skirt, because the size reviews are all over the place. This might not help, lol. The J. Crew suggested size was a 2; most of the time I wear a size 2 in J. Crew pants; I wear a 26 jeans. I ordered a size 2 & it was perfect. The skirt hit slightly above the knee for me; I am 5.4" but 27" inseam. The skirt is very light, so if I were to wear It without tights (in warmer weather), I would feel more comfortable with a pair of bike shorts underneath for the inevitable skirt fly-ups. That's one of the great things about the skirt, though: you can wear it year-round. It's wonderful to have a neutral skirt in an unusual color & a pattern that is interesting but not too busy or distracting. So glad I ordered this.

Love this skirt. Does run small so I sized up 2 sizes. Great piece to wear year-round!
