We made this in a teardrop silhouette that's a touch more streamlined, and it comes with a little less side-to-side coverage that's still completely comfortable. Plus, it features a fresh strawberry print on one side and our signature stripes on the other.

Not so mellow yellow
March 16, 2025I have many many J Crew string bikinis, as I typically love the fit. This top however was a total miss, and I am hugely disappointed. I purchased the matching bottoms along with the matching cover up and the dress with this same print. The dress fits like a dream and is just perfect, should you get a chance, please do not hesitate to purchase it, but I digress. This top has no padding and very little coverage. I am a 36DD and typically large fits me fine in J Crew sting bikinis, all of my other bikini tops from J Crew are a large, and I have no issues whatsoever with coverage, but this one is different. I wore it, afraid that if I sneezed or laughed too hard, I'd be possibly in a lot of trouble for indecent exposure. I am super bummed about it, since as I mentioned I have the matching bottoms, cover up and dress, as I just adore this print. I am looking to purchase another top in a bigger size, on the secondary market, since it's sold out at J Crew. Hoping that a larger size may provide the appropriate coverage.

Not the original string bikini top- NO padding
August 20, 2024I have been buying J. Crew string bikini tops for more than ten years. They are my favorite. Thick material with light pads inside. This top is shown in a photo with pads like all the other tops I’ve bought. Yet, NO padding. Cheap thinner material. False advertising J.Crew. I would never buy this too again because I can’t trust it will have padding. Do not buy.

August 19, 2024It had no pads and is basically unlined. I have been wearing the triangle tops for years. Either I got a lemon or this one is different than every other top.
