March 20, 2022These are truly the best ballet flats ever! Comfortable, polished and the pointed-toe elevates any outfit. I wear them everywhere and almost everyday. They have held up quite well since I purchased them in November 2020. I absolutely regret not buying more pairs when they were available. Please, J. Crew, bring back the Gemma Ballet Flat.

June 22, 2021I've surprised myself by not liking this set. The shape of the flats is perfect but the color is... off. Usually J Crew products are rich and vibrant but these cognac flats feel dull. Would've been killer in a deeper tone (matching the bow) or in a bright color (even better with the option to remove the bow). Purchased on final sale so this is mostly a wishlist for future iterations.

My feet are a little too "ducky"
June 3, 2021Beautiful, classic flat. Unfortunately, my feet are a little too wide ("ducky"). Not J Crew's fault! I recommend these for ladies with "normal size 8" and can buy online easily without trying on. Gorgeous color, great style.

No support, digs into the back of your heel
May 2, 2021These flats are adorable so when I read all the positive reviews, I grabbed a couple pairs. The leather is very soft (almost too soft... they are not made for durability) and there is zero shock absorption so your feet end up sore pretty quickly. The fail for me, however, is that the heel slightly slips when I walk so the ribbon trim cut the back of my heel every time I wore it. I finally bought inserts for both the back and bottom of the heel area and its a decent fix but now feels tight in the front. I wouldn't buy them again, even on super sale.
