First of all, the platinum gold color looks incredibly gorgeous on my tanned Asian skin tone. This shoes have an understated elegance. They make a statement but not flashy. Shoes fit true to size. I love the lugged sole. I also love that they covered the toe nails. One reason I don't often wear open toe sandals is because I don’t feel like maintaining a pedicure schedule. But, and it’s a big BUT, the interior leather is not smooth and thus not very comfortable. I felt the sharp edges poking me with every step as I walked inside the house to try them. If you think you can stand the discomfort during the break in period to smooth out those edges, then get them. I wish I can find a way to get those edges smoothed out without having to endure the pain. These are the first pair of shoes where I’m so conflicted between style and comfort.

I love how these feel and they pair well with anything. I have narrow feet so there is a lot of room in these, but not a problem for me to walk in. The gold color is a plus , dressed up or down.

I love the look of these shoes and was super excited to order the gold (even at full price...). They fit perfectly but the inside edges of the leather straps are very sharp and there are obviously lots of edges. I expected soft leather edges but nope. I would only be wearing these barefoot and knew instantly they hurt my feet. I think they would be fine if I were wearing socks but that's not going to happen so back they go. Super disappointed.

I was so excited to see this fisherman shoe come out in gold. I have the silver from last year and wore them all the time. I love this shoe and I love that the gold isn't too bright. These are great and go with everything. Nice addition to my Jcrew shoe collection and something I will wear for a long time. They run true to size. Grab these before they are gone!!!!
