Size up 1/2 size, wear with socks: perfect
August 8, 2020These are SO comfy I was surprised that a heeled boot felt so natural to wear. They are a bit narrow and my foot is pretty average width, but after reading reviews, I went up 1/2 size (which doesn’t always work, but it did here) and they are perfect. I’ve been looking for them in black, I hope they come back in other colors. The suede is very thick and high quality. No, they are not lined around the ankle, but socks add the extra layer and prevent discomfort.

Misrepresentation.
February 24, 2019I couldn’t wait to get a new pair of these. After reading the negative reviews and the responses from JCrew to improve and correct the problem with the shoes it is evident they did not do that. I wanted to wait to order them hoping I would get the new and improved quality shoe however I got the same bad quality as the rest. Shoe is misrepresented that it is Italian however it is made in Morocco. Also quality of suede is thin and not of a high quality. Color is more tan or yellowish. It is a little smaller fit than should be. Definitely not the same shoe and quality as in the past. Very disappointing especially for a company that prides it self in high end quality items.
