Ankle boot socks in tie-dye

I wanted to love these, since I really love a comfortable cotton sock and I liked the design, but the heel came up to above my ankle. They should have noted that this is for women's sizes 9 an up, maybe even higher. I wear a size 7 shoe and most standard socks fit me the way they are expected to fit, with the heel of the sock cupping my heel. After wearing, I tossed these in the wash hoping that there will be some shrinkage. If I hadn't tried them on, I would have sent them back.

I love my socks I have them in every color nice and soft

I was super excited about these considering the how cute they are and current tie-dye trend! The color on these is beautiful but the sock quality isn't impressive, especially for J.Crew. These socks are very thin and with them labeled as "boot socks" I was definitely expecting something more like a thick hiking sock. They also fit a bit large and I wear a women's size 8. Overall, I will keep them because of the vibrant, happy color.
