Bad pilling within weeks
January 8, 2022I bought two of these "supersoft yarn" crewneck sweaters in Jan 2021 and the fabric had pretty bad pilling almost immediately. The sweater is VERY soft, warm, and stretchy, and the size was good so I wear them around the house, but because of the bad pilling it does not look professional enough to wear to work. I bought one in Mushroom and one in Green - I used a sweater shaver on the mushroom one somewhat recently but have not used one on the green one, so you can see the difference in the pictures. I would not buy anything with the "supersoft yarn" again.

Soft and cozy but sheds like crazy
April 12, 2021The sweater is soft and roomy, but with a fitted waistband that keeps it from looking too unstructured. However, regardless of how I wash it, it pills and sheds huge gobs of gray fuzz on everything.

Comfy, easy, beautiful
March 7, 2021I adore this sweater! I have the bright pink in small, my usual size. It feels good on my skin and the color is fresh and bright. I especially like the waffle knit and the old school sweatshirt-style neckline. I’m 5’3.5”, 125 lb, hourglass shape. It fits a little large but I like that look with this particular style. JCrew, please make more colors for year-round! Burgundy, navy, white, pale gray, spruce green.TY!

Comfortable but too large

Better than expected!
March 3, 2021I bought two of these on sale (great deal) and was pleasantly surprised with the quality, style and fit. I thought they would be "just another sweater" but they turned out to be much better than expected. Quality is good, TTS, great colors.
