Scallop piqué scoopback one-piece

The fabric felt very cheap and the scallops gaped and did not have much elasticity to it. Hung loose around bum and neckline. Was very displeased and it was final sale so not much to do.

This is a terrible garment. As other reviews noted (which I read too late, sadly) the fit of this suit is way off. It’s too big on top while the bottom fits fine. Worse than the fit is the fabric, which is thick and stiff and scratchy. I can’t imagine wearing this all day at the beach. Thumbs down. I gave it two stars for the cute scalloped design but no. I’m bummed this is final sale.

I want to love this suit! The low back is so flattering. But the straps are set wide and won't stay up. I'm constantly pulling them back on my shoulders.

I wanted to love this swimsuit. I usually love all my J Crew swim wear and they usually fit true to size. This suit was the exact opposite. The construction of the top is awful. I don't think it matters how large or small your chest is the design is flawed. It doesn't hug the body as it should. The straps fall down and the chest does a weird puckering in the middle section. The backside of the suit is adorable but the front looks frumpy and ill fitting. Do not buy!!

I wanted to love this suit, but it was not for me. For reference, I am 36DD, a 10 in tops, and an 8 in bottoms. I ordered this suit in black in a 10, which was a mistake based on the reviews indicating it ran large. An 8 would have been better, maybe even a 6. I liked the pique fabric. It offered decent compression without being tight. I love the low back and the scalloped edge. However, the scalloping didn't lie flat. You can see on the model the it folds in towards the body at the lowest point of the scoop neck in front. Another issue is it felt like there was too much lining for the suit. Worst of all, there is no elastic or the elastic was shot at the legs, and the leg opening hung open at the backside making it uncomfortable and awkward. This was returned and will not be reordered.

The scallops & material of this swim suit make it special & expensive looking. I found it true to size except the bust area is a bit bigger on the sides. I would have liked it tighter but still kept the suit & it is beautiful & has worn well for me.
