Relaxed-fit crewneck sweater in stripe

Bought this in the white with navy stripes, and what a stunning piece! I cannot wait to wear it during the fall. I always size up to Medium in Margot sweaters because I personally prefer my sweaters slightly loose. (36B, 129 lbs, 5'5) I could have fit the Small, too, but it would have been somewhat fitted. If you're into more fitted sweaters, go normal size. If you like it a bit loose -- not comedically loose -- go next size up. The material is so soft, and the weight is mid-tier -- not too heavy, not that light. Going to pair perfectly with a pair of J.Crew jeans and loafers.

I bought the ivory/blue stripe. It’s very nice and I know I will enjoy it this fall. I did not downsize since I planned to wash and dry. I bought my usual size S and it barely had shrinkage, just a tad and now it’s just right. If you wanted a more relaxed look you could upsize and then wash and dry. I had to return the first one for a defect in the material. They make it easy to return!! Next one had a wrinkle about 2” long in the front that would not come out but when I put it on you could barely see it. I bought it on sale so I am perfectly satisfied. You’ll love it, so classic!!

I was completely surprised to find this sweater a bit itchy. If you are sensitive at all, I'd skip. The sizing is more fitted than other J Crew sweaters. I ordered large and it fits perfectly and I'm typically a size 10-12 with a smaller chest.

Love this sweater, one of my favorites, and believe me when I say I've purchased a lot of JCrew in the past year and a half (it's been a mental boost struggling with my job through the pandemic). I purchased the white for a more spring/summer look, but it would look beautiful with white wool pants. This is not a yellow white. It's a little shorter, not the long sweater look. I should have purchased the navy also. I'm 5'4", 116 - 118 pounds, broader shoulders 32/34B best, longer arms and small fits well. The knit/material is just fine.

Looks great, perfect for cool summer evenings or fall..or spring. The material is thick but still breezy enough. I like the way it looks very much! For reference, I am a typical xxs or xs with jcrew, and xxs fit fine. Just perfectly snug. I don’t like when loose fitting sweaters (98lbs; 5’2”, D cup).

If you love style...this is for you. casual, preppy and comfy. great with blue or white denim.
