Cashmere collared V-neck sweater

This is one of those great pieces that can elevate your whole outfit. It is oversized without being sloppy. Time will tell if it holds up, but my initial impression is positive. Please make it in more colors!

I have been wearing jcrew for over 20 years and this has been the best cashmere sweater they have made in awhile ( tippy is #1) The sweater is a great weight- not thin.This can be worn casual or dressy. Who’s they made this style all year.

I initially bought this for my daughter for her birthday and she loves it. The color is so pretty I ended up buying one for myself. By the time I purchased the second one, my size (S) was sold out, so I bought the medium. It's oversized for sure, but it works. I'm hoping you'll make this one again next year in beautiful sherbet colors again!

I purchased in medium. Very nice shade of blue, and true to size. The cashmere is of a decent quality. I liked the collar styling, which is a nice change from my turtle, crew it v-neck styles.

JCrew cashmere is not the best out there — it’s very thin and ridiculously delicate. Don’t let the marketing fool you into thinking it’s top of the line! But the colors and some style options like this polo are different enough that I opted for this in both the coral and blue shade. The blue is like crayon blue, neither navy or royal, and not quite cobalt either. Worn with a satin camisole underneath and a delicate necklace, the open polo neckline is very sexy. I also style it with the J Crew Liberty print button-down shirt for an interesting take on the classic layered look. The tapered waist on this sweater makes it easy to tuck into a pencil or fit-and-flair skirt or high waisted trousers. This is a very relaxed fit sweater and runs large. I’m generally a petite 10 in relaxed fit or a 12 in classic fit, and a small sweater fits me best, compared to a medium in the classic crew cashmere or a large in the cable knit cashmere sweaters.

This sweater runs a bit large. I wear it over a skirt and tucked in front with jeans. It's roomy, almost a bit slouchy and sexy in the v neck. Looks great with longer pearls or a necklace. Wore it with a silk blouse and got lots of compliments. The grey is classic and can be worn year round. I highly recommend!
