March 1, 2022This is a beautiful sweater but unfortunately mine (natural) had a big snag right in front on arrival. So sad as there was not another to replace it. I did also buy this in navy and that one is great so far. I love the fit and feel of this sweater but now I'm worried about the quality of my navy one too...

Comfy, stylish, great quality
February 15, 2022Fits just right, and dresses up a pair of jeans on a cool day. I bought both the navy and cream for layering, and I'm so glad I did! I am sometimes a 2, usually a 4, in J Crew tops and I bought the XS in each. Love the cotton, heavy -ish weight. Nice to have an alternative to wool. I am 59 years old, about 5'4" and 128 pounds, small busted, pear-shaped. Elevates jeans and other casual pants/skirts/dresses. Love!

sleeves are really short - overall runs small
February 3, 2022I usually wear a small or medium in J Crew sweaters. I order medium when I want a generous fit. The medium in this sweater was at least 2 inches too short in the sleeves and was very short in the body. To get a fit even close to the generous fit shown on both models wearing the ivory color, I had to order up to a size Large. Usually J Crew is generous on sleeve length, so I was really surprised when I received the medium. I even called ahead to verify sleeve length, and the sleeves were at least 3 inches shorter than the measurements given to me by a stylest. I have a similar cotton cable sweater from J Crew in size small from last year, and the sleeve length of that size small matches the sleeve length of the size large in this sweater. Go figure.

Chic cotton sweater
January 25, 2022Chic sweater, mid weight cotton, loose fit but true-to-size, bought my typical small ( I am 5'6'', 118LB.), hit lower hip. I can wear a thin long-sleeved t-shirt underneath. Washed in warm water but hang-dry, minimal shrinkage. Got both off-white and navy. As other reviewers said, the off-white is more of an oatmeal white color, but still neutral. Love the sweater!
