Perfect cut of denim shorts
July 29, 2022I bought these shorts in another (now out of stock) wash, and I absolutely love them. They are a great length and wide enough in the leg to be super flattering on athletic legs. I typically wear a size 4 in tops and dresses and a size 6 in shorts/pants. I wear a size 8 in the J. Crew chino shorts. I took a chance and ordered size 28 in these shorts, and they are a tiny bit big out of the wash and stretch out a little bit after a wear or two. Size 27 probably would have fit, although maybe a little tighter than I would like. So I would say they run a little big compared to other, non-denim J. Crew shorts. I don't own any J. Crew jeans, so I can't weigh in on how the sizing compared to other J. Crew denim.

CUTE, but DO NOT run small
July 25, 2022I also read review that said they run small and someone ordered two sizes down. So I ordered 24s, yet I am always a 25 in JCrew. I wanted them to fit like pictured--relaxed. They fit, but they are super tight and cheeky. I'm hoping JCREW will let me change them, but I also ordered them on final sale. They are very cute and I love how they are pictured--color is exact.
