Western fine-wale corduroy shirt
this corduroy shirt is ready to take on everything you can throw at it. Made with finer 21-wale corduroy, snap closures and a western-style yoke, it's versatile enough to dress up or down depending on what's on your agenda. Fun fact: The word "wale," which refers to the peaks in a corduroy fabric, comes from an old Anglo-Saxon word for the ridges in a ploughed field.

Poor Quality and Sizing
May 7, 2023I was excited for this piece to arrive but was disappointed in its poor quality and odd sizing. The material is feels cheap and is not nearly as nice as you would expect for an expensive shirt. The shirt also runs small and is much more slim and structured than what is pictured in the photos. I am a short and muscular guy, but medium always fits for shirts at J Crew. I understand that I have a larger chest and shoulders than other guys my height, but it hasn't been a problem until this J Crew season. The shoulders and chest were too tight when I tried on this shirt. My physique has not changed but it seems that J Crew's sizing has.

Great shirt for spring/summer
April 7, 2023Very cool shirt, the Western details and corduroy fabric make the shirt a little more unique but it's still a versatile piece. I got it in the "Bright Parchment" which is basically a cream/off white color. Fits true to size, fabric is good quality and is not too thick (about the same weight as JCrew's oxford shirts in my opinion) so I'm looking forward to wearing this throughout the spring and into the summer.
