Favorite jeans
January 19, 2024These are my absolute favorite jeans for my body type. I have at least 4 pairs - I look like the poster child for J Crew. They are the perfect combination of normal jeans that have just the right amount of stretch. The light denim has a great fade from a weathered jean, while still looking “cool”. The dark denim definitely takes a step up and looks more polished. I have noticed these run a tad big. I would size down one.

Great Jeans but stinky
August 16, 2023I love the fit and quality of these jeans but they really really stink! I have washed them with my normal detergent and also soaked them in a baking soda mixture and in a vinegar and water mix to try to get the formaldehyde smell out and they still stink! I've had other denim from J Crew with this issue and was able to return them. These were on final sale so I'm stuck with them and out the money I paid. I understand why formaldehyde is used but companies need to find some other way that doesn't make the clothes unwearable. I should not have to wash multiple times and do days-long soaking in baking soda and vinegar in order to make my jeans wearable, which I still haven't succeeded at. I might understand more if they were some cheap off-brand from a discount retailer but it's inexcusable for a seemingly higher-end brand.

Great fit
June 17, 2023These jeans for great. J.Crew needs more jeans with 2% elastic because that’s the sweet spot where they’re so comfortable, but they still look like cotton. They don’t lose their shape even if you wear them every day. The legs on these are pretty snug, but I have chubby legs. I wish they were more straight leg, but they fits so well I kept them. Purchased my typical J.Crew size of 27. I’m only 5’2” but the high-rise wasn’t too high at all, and seemed very practical and comfortable

Nice but STINKY!
June 6, 2023The jeans are a good quality and the fit is tts. I like them. I subtracted a star because the jeans stunk so horribly due to formaldehyde or whatever they were treated with. I soaked the jeans in pure vinegar several times, washed them several times and laid then out in the sun several days before they were wearable. They still have a slight odor that will probably subside with time. That chemical cannot be good for us to breath or wear on our bodies.
