Parke blazer in gingham bi-stretch cotton blend

I get so many compliments when I wear this blazer. The classic fit is great and the jacket is very high quality.

I love the gingham pattern and dark evening color (lighter than true navy). I had my eye on this blazer for a while, but I bought it after being pleased with the Parke blazer in stretch linen blend in vivid begonia (pink). The cotton is a little heavy for the hottest summer days, but it’s perfect for the air conditioned office. I bought this blazer in size 4 regular, although I often wear petite sizes (JCrew petite sleeves are notoriously short, based on previous experience with their shirts). I love the fit of the Parke blazer; it’s businesslike without being stuffy. I hope that JCrew continues to offer it in various fabrics and colors, especially coordinating shades like vivid begonia and dark evening that permit mixing and matching.

Saw this in the store the other day and tried it out for fun. A great looking blazer. Classic style. I'm usually a 6 or an 8 at J. Crew and went with the 6 with this since I don't plan on laying it over a sweater. Looks sharp with my white J.Crew Slim perfect fit T. So glad I tried it as this will be a wardrobe staple for me.
