Garçon cotton voile shirt in gingham

I was disappointed when I tried this on in store. The fabric is cotton viscose blend and feels and looks cheap. I was worried about quality, but really wanted the oversized green gingham print, so I purchased this on sale. I followed the care instructions and the shirt was very wrinkled after air drying, even though I smoothed it out while damp. This has to be ironed on a low setting because viscose can yellow with heat, and it’s hard to press the wrinkles out. I fell like this is being marketed as light and airy for summer, trying to make this cheap fabric sound like a positive. I prefer a shirt like this in 100% cotton and am glad that I didn’t pay full price. I’m growing less enthusiastic for jcrew and am looking elsewhere for quality that will last. I don’t feel good about this fast-fashion purchase.
