Louisa lady jacket in sequin tweed

Excellent quality jacket. Heavyweight, nicely structured, interesting gold buttons that elevate the look. No wool so vegan friendly for animal loving vegans like me. Bought blue and green. Green with blue undertones look better on me since I have blue eyes and pale skin but I just needed this in both colors. Green could also be nice for Christmas. I’m 5’4”, 115 lbs, and the blue in size 2 fit perfectly, but green only remained in size 4 and that worked too. I only wish the coordinating dress were longer and not a mini. Great jacket, keep ‘em coming J. Crew!

Love the jacket, but I regret trusting the "true to size" reviews. The 14 is TOO SMALL ALL AROUND, which stinks on final sale. Totally not cool. JCrew should put bust and waist measurements in product descriptions like Lafayette 148. I'm a short waisted busty 40" chest & wear a 12-14 on bottom. Grading on this 14 is sadly closer to a 10, not at least 42" in the bust. JCrew 16s typically have too much fabric everywhere but only an inch or so different in the bust. Now I need to order a 16 here & hope that fits comfortably. SIZE UP if you are size 10+. I hope the skirt in 14 isn't equally disappointing - this is turning out to be quite an expensive gamble.

I absolutely loved this jacket and had to order it in green right away. The fit is perfect, the quality and style spot on... but the sparkly details just took the jacket to a festive level that I did not care for. Sequins and sparkly threads are way too much for a jacket I planned on wearing during the day. I contemplated keeping it and removing the sparkly features but at that price point I would hate to ruin the jacket by mistake. Sadly returned it.

Lady jacket is one of the signature pieces of J.Crew for many years. As usual, this one is great too. I love the eye catching kelly green color very much. I sized up one size for the length.

I love this piece! I got the green but any color is great! The tiny sparkle in the weave is subtle which I like. I'm usually a 2 or 4 in jackets. I got the 2. I'm a 32 DDD. The 4 was just a little too much fabric around the body. You can wear this with wide leg jeans, skinny or flare jeans. There is even a matching dress to pair with it.

Great quality, reminds me of some of JCrew's earlier pieces. I am 5'7 and 125-130 lbs. This blazer fits perfectly. I am usually a size 2 in dresses and small in tops. Color is true to the pictures online!
