Violetta made-in-Italy thong sandals in leather

I took a risk and ordered my true size despite the reviews indicating to size up. So glad I ordered my regular size 7 because they fit perfectly!

Very pretty sandal, good quality. I always wear an 8 but I suggest you Size up a half size. Comfortable from the first wearing. I liked the white so much I just ordered the green metallic.

I am normally a size 6. The reviews state this style ran small, and I was debating between the 6.5 or the 7s. I went with the 7s in the tan color, and they fit. Maybe the 6.5s would have fit too, but it would have been close, and this item was final sale. The shoe looks good, but I wish the thong strap was slightly tighter. I have a normal width foot.

Well, I have to thank the previous reviewers who recommended going up a whole size. Initially, I thought half a size bigger would be enough … But I received the black pair in size 11 and they are the correct fit for my usually 10-sized feet. It was great advice since I bought it in final sale! Now, the sandals themselves are nice and fit well but I feel they’re not very stable … But they’re OK for the use I expect to make of them … I intend to wear with a black summer dress I have … I have however removed the off white from my wishlist.

I am a true size 6 and received the black color as a gift because it did not fit the first recipient who is also a size 6. It fit my foot but was not an ideal fit and I would not have paid full price for this shoe since the fit is off. I have an average width foot and can occasionally get away with going a half size up or down. I would be afraid to size up with this shoe because the straps are loose and perhaps the thong is placed incorrectly, allowing the foot to slide forward too far. The foot bed just fits so I couldn't size down. And I don't think sizing up would work since the straps may be even looser. I ordered the cream and the green. The cream is even looser. Also if you have a wide foot the foot bed is on the narrow side so I don't even know if sizing up would work in that scenario. For that reason I would NOT RECOMMEND at FINAL SALE TIME. And I usually will not buy at final sale time for that reason.

I read the other reviews saying they were on the smaller size so I sized up and they are still way too small. I can’t return them to get another size up because it was a sale.
