Classic-fit boy shirt in crinkle gingham

Classically casual button down that will be a staple for years. It runs a little large but I am a curvy lady. Saturday antique(ing)?....this is the shirt to wear.

Love this top. Very comfortable and modest yet flattering fit! I followed the recommendations of other reviewers and bought a size down (4 instead of 6) and so glad I did. It fits perfectly!

I have to admit, I buy every single JCrew shirt that's made with a normal 28" torso length. I can't wear most JCrew shirts because they are short-waisted and fit me like a crop-top, so they show skin when I raise my arms, and won't stay tucked in. So I have bought a bunch of these crinkle Boy Shirts over the years! I love them and wish they would make more colors, especially neutrals and the smaller size check pattern. The fabric is almost gauzy, but holds up fine in the laundry. The cut is really nice - long and lean, and drapes nicely from the shoulders down along the torso. Looks great over a tank, or under a blazer. Goes with everything. Comfortable, and allows freedom of movement, so you can actually do things while wearing this shirt. For sizing: I am 5'3" 115 lb, athletic non-curvy body type, long torso, wide shoulders. I usually take a small or size 4 in JCrew tops. Size 4 in this shirt fits me perfectly with a bit of room to spare.
