770 Straight-fit jean in raw selvedge denim

Excellent jeans. A little dressier than most. Will break in nicely

I'm 5'11", 185 lb and have muscular legs from working out. These are the only jeans I've found that fit nicely around my thighs without sizing way up on the waist. Not too snug and definitely not loose. The taper is mellow and the jeans have a flattering fit. Truly satisfied with this purchase and this is coming from somebody that's very particular about how clothes fit. If you're between two waist sizes, opt for the smaller one. The waist is a little larger than listed. I ordered a 32" waist but it measured at 34".

I was a picky denim buyer. Wasn't sure I wanted to spend the $$ on a pair of selvage denim. I went back and forth with sizing since a 30L is not available in stores. I don't like super slim or tight jeans. When I first tried on the 32 felt a bit snug even though that is my waist size. went a size up and was too loose. After doing a couple of deep squats wearing a 32x30, these jeans quickly felt super comfortable. After about a week of wear, I could tell that these jeans were going to become my favorite pair. I now have a new favorite and will buy more 770's to make sure I always have a pair on reserve. Absolutely LOVE them and they can be dressed up or down. Worth every penny even though I got lucky with a 30percent off sale! Just buy them, they'll speak for themselves.

I’m 5’11”, 205 lbs with muscular legs and typically wear 34/30 jeans and pants (occasionally 33/30 jeans). These were modestly snug when I first put them. (I had difficulty buttoning the 33/30 size of these and sent them back.) After about two weeks worth of wear, the waist has stretched out about a half inch (as expected). The denim quality is superb, they’re very comfortable (despite the starch), and the look is fantastic. The flattering-but-not-not-too-tight 770 fit is perfect for wearing a tucked-in shirt on dates and other occasions where you want to look casual, but classy. One thing to note is that these and the 770 stretch selvedge jeans look identical. This is not obvious from the photos. Also, if you don’t have any experience with raw selvedge jeans, do a quick web search on their care. You will not want to wash these more than once every few months and *never* let them anywhere near a dryer.

770's just fit me so well, and this pair is especially great. The style, color and quality are all fantastic.

Overall the denim fit pretty good and looks very good. After breaking them in they are really comfortable. How ever the pair I received has loose stitching in some areas.
