Fun jacket
April 18, 2025So I purchased this jacket during the 60% and like it a lot but having a J.Crew laminated linen rain coat that I love, I feel this jacket should have been made in linen and then laminated. Not that the jacket has an overly plastic look but it is made of plastic and at the full price point, the fabric content could have just as easily been a laminated linen. For reference, I'm 5'4", 148# and wear an 8 or Medium, which is what I purchased and could have never fit into a Small, so I'm glad that I heeded to most of the reviews that indicated TTS. An an extra inch or two in length would have been better but I wore a long J.Crew wool sweater underneath and liked the combined look. Despite the suggested enhancements at a good sale price this is fun piece for any clotheshorse.

March 28, 2025I was kind of worried about this jacket when I ordered it, but I'm so happy that I went ahead and trusted JCrew to come through again, and they did! This jacket is beautiful - better in person than in the photos - and it's soft and comfortable. I would recommend to anyone on the fence about it. Take the plunge.
