Timeless, Well Made, and Beach Perfect
January 24, 2026I love this dress. I bought it in both black and white, and even grabbed two different sizes. It is one of those classic, well made J.Crew pieces that feels like it will last forever. One thing worth noting, only the white version comes with a slip. I wish the black did too. In my experience, this dress works better as a beach dress than as a belted work dress like it is shown, but that is just my personal take. I bring both colors on every beach trip and have even bought extra as gifts for friends because it is one of those pieces everyone should have in their closet.

Not as good as expected
