A bit different from the old version
December 21, 2025I have the old version of this shirt in my closet from a few years back and there’s pros and cons compared to this one. The wool is much softer here, feels more like their cashmere blend on a topcoat I’ve got. The old one was stiffer, felt thicker and more true to style, like what they use on a peacoat. Fit wise this one is a bit more standard and longer, which was a gripe I had with the old version. Those were always a little short on me, slim around the body, but larger upper sleeves. Overall I like this version. It feels a little dressier and good to wear as a layering piece, and I think it fits better. I wish the wool was a little less shiny and more like the older version, but it’s fine.
