Fair isle cardigan in vintage wool
February 28, 2026I read all the reviews on this cardigan so thought the size that I ordered should have fit, but sadly, I found this cardigan to run cropped and small. I usually wear an XS-Med in J Crew tops, sweaters, and blazers, depending on the cut. I ordered a size Small in this cardigan but found it too trim for my comfort. One shoulder also had a very large pull, with a long thread pulled through the shoulder. Reordering a size medium, hoping that should fit better.

Fits small
Beware cropped length
February 13, 2026I regret that this sweater is final sale. When I opened the package, I thought I had been sent a child's sweater! On the website model, the sweater reaches her hips. It barely covers my waist it is so cropped. Yet, it is quite generous on top. I purchased my usual size L. This sweater is also "Dry clean only." In 2026, who dry cleans anything anymore? I'm afraid if I wash it gently as I have always done with lambswool, it will shrink in length and become completely unwearable. For this price point, very disappointing. I'm canceling another sweater I have on order. Two stars for a cute pattern.
