Ruffle maxi dress in cotton voile with Lurex^® metallic threads

I honestly can’t say anything good about this dress and should have listened to the reviews as this was a final sale. It’s cheap looking and ill fitting. It wouldn’t be good as a dress or a swim cover up. Literally a garment with 0 purpose. It’s awful. I don’t know what’s happening with JCrew, but my last 3 purchases have all been terrible quality and fit.

When I saw this online, I thought "coverup" without seeing the garment title. It would work for me as a casual dress, but I would have to wear a strapless bra. So my inclination is to use it as a coverup. I love all things denim, so I love the light blue shade. It's not too pastel like. It's not a denim fabric, for the record. The gold threads at uniqueness without being gaudy at all. I am currently a M and sometimes L. The S fits well.

This needs to be sold as a swim coverup. It is too see-through to be worn as a dress. Runs one size large,

I originally bought this dress in a L. It runs a little big. I reordered a Medium and it fits perfect! Need to go down one size. It’s a very full dress and light weight. I wear a had cotton slip underneath to make sure not see thru with certain lighting. Love the color and fit and perfect for summer and fall with added sweater. I wear this dress now with a crochet cropped light weight cardigan sweater and sneakers.

Expensive mistake. So sad this dress looks nothing like the picture, other than it’s a blue fabric. The ruffles aren’t gathered and cute at the top. It’s just a piece of fabric that lays flat along the top. Runs extremely large so it just hangs and looks frumpy. Size down two sizes at least. It’s also totally see thru. Works if it’s a cover up but this was supposed to be a dress. Couldn’t be more disappointed.
