770™ Straight-fit stretch chino pant
favorites for a reason—several, actually. Our designers engineer these pants with precision—using fit and fabric detail that'll make you want to wear them every day. We use just the right amount of Stretch on Demand for extra flex you only notice when you need it. Our designers painstakingly calibrate the pitch of the pants (aka the difference between the rise in the front and back) to ensure you get a comfortable fit, every time.

Overall, customers really enjoy these chinos for their modern style, comfortable feel, and versatility—from casual outings to office wear. Many praised the great range of colors, the added stretch for ease of movement, and the way they hold up over time. While a few suggested double-checking sizes or trying on different fits in-store due to occasional inconsistencies, the majority found the cut and quality on point. Disappointing fit.
July 29, 2022Thought these were going to be the same pants and style that were made with the Kurabo label purchased a few years back. These pants were 2 to 3 inches longer and were much larger in the waist as said pants with Kurabo label. I called the J Crew representative and was told they would not shrink either, so I returned them.

Great quality-Crazy Fit
July 22, 2022I needed 40 Waist but I’m a 38 in other paints so As the date progressed the pants got baggier and baggier. I guess if you wash and dry them mid day it would be fine.

Ok, but not as good as the 100% cotton
May 3, 2022Long time JCrew customer and avid 770 Chino wearer. I have always preferred the 100% cotton chinos but decided to give the stretch a try. Overall, they are not bad. They fit as expected. My dislikes: The color is not navy in my opinion, maybe a more dark royal blue. They also feel like womens slacks, which just makes them feel like jeggings to me. They also collect lint way more than the 100% cotton ones. I bought these to see if I would like them and I don’t, but they will serve until the cotton ones come back in stock. JCrew needs to make the cotton ones more frequently to keep them in stock and offer the cotton ones in more colors. My cotton ones lasted for years. I feel like these are just overall lesser quality, not what I expect from JCrew’s usual high standard.
