American wool tie in classic navy

I bought this for my son and l am very pleased that he loved it. It is classic and beautiful.

perfectly simple and stylish; will be great with a suit or worn casually.

can't afford the drake's tie equivalent so went with this instead. looks great and is the perfect width.

First, this 100% wool tie has a relatively smooth appearance and tight weave. From a few feet away you wouldn't necessarily notice that it is woolen. It is also pretty thin. I think it could be worn in any season, not just winter. That should appeal to some; however, I was really hoping for a thicker, more burly "winter tie". Thin ties do have a certain style to them, but leave you with a tiny knot and just don't feel as high quality to me as thicker ties. I kept this tie because it does go with everything, but I debated for a while about putting the same $ into a pricier, more perfect item.

The color, shape, quality is wonderful. My husband loved it!
