Collection leather skirt

Classic styling and fabulous soft leather. Green is beautiful and unique color. Fit is spot on. I am pretty consistently a size 6 in JC and this was the perfect size. I am older so I would not wear it tight tight. Yes, it's a lot of $ but it's not a one or two season item. I feel the classic timeless style will go on and get that cost per wear down!! If you think you have to have this - indulge yourself - it does not disappoint.

Got my black leather skirt today. Love! Feels soft with a little stretch. This is hopefully a piece that will be used in so many different ways for years. Was a little worried about spending so much for the skirt, but the quality is there. If you only buy one skirt this year, get this. You will not be disappointed with the quality, style and feel.

Yes, this is an expensive piece. However, it is timeless and the leather is so completely butter soft and supple that you will fall in love with this skirt and conceive of multiple ways to wear it again and again and again. This really is worth the investment and will be a tried and true staple to have in your wardrobe for decades (because it is that beautiful, well made and completely stylish)! Thank you, J.Crew. After years of looking for the perfect classic leather skirt, I saw this and ordered on the spot. I ordered size 4, in black. For reference I am 5'5 and 130 lbs. The skirt arrived yesterday and I loved it! The leather is soft, the skirt is longer than I anticipated, def past my knees, I would say that it fit perfect. Not tight, not lose, it has a nice waist band, so the skirt will not pinch the waist, the overall look was of a very polished pencil skirt. My only concern is that due to the softness of the leather that the leather will stretch out, my reaction is to get the size 2, but I am afraid that it will be too snug and that it will give me an undesired look. I want to be able to wear it to the office with sweaters, and button down tops. Also concerned about the size 2 stretching out and looking hideous. Don't know what to do. There is only one other review and no feedback yet from other owners on how the leather has worked out after wearing. Any other feedback?

Love this skirt. Great color (thyme!), style, and gorgeous, supple leather. J.Crew - please, oh PLEASE make this into a jacket (again, in this gorgeous green) - would buy in a heartbeat!
