High-rise slim boy chino pant

I like the fabric of these chinos. I bought a size smaller than normal, but I wish I'd downsized by two as they become huge throughout the day. They are a bit more high-waisted than I like but otherwise nice pants. Just size way down!

I have ordered these pants 4 different times. The first pair (27) was comically giant, so I reordered two sizes down (25), which was way too small. Then I ordered one size down from the first (26) and while that pair fit, the back pockets are defective. They are sewn shut and are so thick and bunchy, you’d have to cut them out to make the pants wearable. All of the seaming is different from the previous two pairs of pants I ordered. The pants are also a different shade of honey brown. I like the cut of these pants, so I am reordering a size 26...but what the heck, J. Crew?! What a frustrating experience. There really is no element of predictability anymore for J. Crew sizing and quality.

I don't know why J Crew gave these a "high rise" in the title, because these are not high rise. They are mid rise. And even though I ordered a size smaller than I usually wear, they were still too loose in the waist. It's too bad, because I liked the cut, but they are going to be returned.

Love the pants, fit great in the legs but they’re big in the waist. The color is spot on and they’re super comfortable.

Bought these for my daughter and she LOVED them, the fit, the color all perfect. May buy again.
