Tunic in cotton poplin

I love some items from J.Crew but am no longer making any online purchases due to the fact that I have to pay to send most items back. The sizing is so off. Some items come too small and short and others look like garbage bags like this top. It looks super cute on the model. I ordered an XS (5'3" 110 lbs.) This looked like a XL. It was not flattering to say the least. Sizing consistency would be nice.

Fits small | Sleeves are uncomfortable...doesn't look good if you have a chest.

This is a great staple. It has a slightly longer length and is a very crisp, good cotton. The neck just adds a little more interest, so as a religious white-blouse-wearer, I love having that option, and the pullover style just makes it slightly more casual and summery.

This shirt is basically a dress button-up without the buttons. I wished it were made out of fabric that had some weight to it. Its a little big, and a little long, so I tuck it into my pants so that I don't look like a balloon. After washing it, the neckline got super wrinkled and is hard to get to lay flat again. Overall though it is a cute shirt that is great for a warm summer day.

This looked so pretty and airy in the photo, but in person it's just a cheap mess. The fabric feels like medical scrubs, minus the comfort, and is completely transparent. It's so thin, my nude bra showed right through it. The cut runs very large – I ordered a full size down from my usual J. Crew size and it was still enormous. Essentially, this top is a tissue paper potato sack. The seams are poorly finished and it doesn't look like the kind of piece that would last more than a few weeks before looking crinkly and cheap – probably because it IS crinkly and cheap. Skip this one.

Cute, comfortable and soft. I receive lots of compliments when I wear this shirt. Wish it was offered in other colors. Perfect for hot sticky weather.
