Turtleneck sweater in metallic knit

Nice metallic turtleneck. Made well, not scratchy inside. Can't wait for next Christmas.

It fit great - not tight but not baggy. And I love the sparkle. But it caught on everything and within 4 hours of wear I had 3 big snags. Unfortunately even on sale it wasn’t worth the money.

I ordered this sweater together with the fitting skirt, however, I felt it looks a bit cheap and simple. A darker gold tone would have done it a bit more noble. The photo does not show the real color - it is lighter, nearly sand colored. It runs also very large. I ordered an XS and could have taken an XXS as well. One positive aspect is that it is very soft inside, so, it should not itch. The neck part is not soft and could itch, if you are sensitive. This sweater was not made for me - it goes back.

Grabbed this sweater for family holiday pictures and fell in love when I tried it on. A wonderfully subtle gold shimmer that works well for lots of different occasions. The reason for the 3 stars? The sweater snags horribly--HORRIBLY. Wearing it for just a few hours to take holiday pictures with my family left me with a sweater that looked as though I had worn and washed it many times over. What a disappointment! The sweater overall had a weathered and worn look just hours into being worn and every single thing caused the threads to pull and snag--my engagement ring, my infant daughter's fingernail, my 4 year old's hair bow clip, etc. To add insult to injury, I realized that the turtleneck part is actually quite scratchy. The body is very comfortable because of the soft knit lining but the turtleneck part is the rougher lurex that's on the outside--no thanks. I recommend this sweater only for those who can wear it without having to do much moving around.

Absolutely love the thoughtful touch of the soft, smooth ‘knit like’ lining. This will be very comfortable to wear and not scratchy. Size is ample. If you don’t want a blousy or relaxed look, buy a size down for a more snug fit.
