Garment-dyed baseball cap

As is usually the case, products shown do not match in color or presentation. It frustrates me that I often get packages shipped willy nilly in packages that show little of no consideration for how they arrive and in what condition. The hat came in a soft plastic envelope with nothing to protect its shape. I worked as courier fo 20 years and I saw good packaging and bad over that period. The hat was creased and flattened out and the color didn't match the photo.

I love my baseball cap. Looks cool and stylish. I would recommend this purchase.

Some people are very particular about certain things. My husband is difficult to please, his baseball cap must fit a certain way! Comfort is the number one priority and the J Crew cap was a winner!

Adjustable band in back is brown leather with j.Crew embossed on it, a nice detail I didn't notice when I purchased online. Color is as pictured. Fit is perfect. Love this hat for a bad hair day.

The bottom edge of the hat was approximately 2-1/2 to 3 inches from my ear. I gave it to my wife.

I honest unable to decipher if this is a quality JCrew garment--mostly because I got the package delivered to me smashed. I suppose wrinkled and messy is the whole aesthetic, but I can't tell if the whole hat is lopsided (from the R visor trim to the front panel) as the result of the plastic bag packaging/smashed shipment, or the aesthetic aesthetic of the hat (imperfect, I suppose, could be a look, but it's just weird). If it is supposed to be lopsided, then I don't think I can recommend it, especially for the original price. Ordered for the color (looks just like the pic, so that is a plus), but thought I could re-shape the hat by wearing it--I've already used it on a hike, but during its prolonged wear, it just feels 'off.'
