Boys' packable quilted jacket with eco-friendly PrimaLoft^® in buffalo check

I, like the reviewer who sized up to a 16, experienced the same fit issues. My son is 8 and is in that awkward size between an 8 and a 10. (we need a 9 as the jump from an 8 to a 10 is considerable) He is almost 9 so I hate to buy 8s and not be able to wear them after a few months. He's tall for his age and average build so I always size up. I ordered a 10. It's HUGE - sleeves could be rolled 3-4 times and length almost goes to his knees - wide in the body too. I hate to order an 8 in case it doesn't fit next year. Too bad - sale price was great and it really is a nice coat - but be warned - it runs really big.

Bought a 16 for my son because CrewCuts size 14 t-shirts are snug in the belly. The 16 is huge! In my pics, the guy in the jeans (his coat) is normally a 16. The guy in athletic pants is a men’s medium/32 pants. The belly could be do-able, but the arms are very long. Definitely dont size up and it’ll be a great coat!
